36 Weeks Pregnant

We decided to purchase clippers and groom the dogs ourselves. Well, actually Brian groomed them while I made sure they didn't run off. That plan didn't last too long either. I had to run to the shower because even though they are "hypoallergenic dogs" my extreme dog allergies started to go crazy when I had dog hair stuck to my face! Brian did a great job on his first cut. Their coats are a little choppy but it was free! Groomers charge an arm and a leg to groom small breeds. Later we both clipped their ears, feet, and eye area with grooming scissors. Here is a before and after shot.





Quick Baby Update: During my recent ultrasound of Logan I was told by the technician that he has chubby cheeks and peach fuzz hair. We can't wait to meet him!

Nashville Baby Shower

On Saturday May 30th our wonderful friends the Smiths, Atnips, and Masseys threw us a baby shower. It was attended by both our close male and female friends. They went all out for the shower: adorable modern invitations, delicous food (of course Mexican themed-YUM), the best popsicles I have ever had, generous gifts, mini cheesecakes and cupcakes with pudding inside! They had decorated everything with chocolate and lime green to match our nursery. I think my two favorite decorations were the wagon they had brought inside and filled with ice and beverages and the popsicles upside down in a metal bucket. Too cute! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends. We felt so loved!











Our friends were so generous. I got some much needed nursing and feeding accessories. Logan got some great toys (wooden blocks, baby's first laptop, stroller toys, wooden puzzle and duck). We were given the cutest burp cloth and bib that had his little name monogrammed on it. He also racked up in the clothes department: onsies, the softest bamboo gown and swaddle blanket, sleep sacks, swaddler, little man pajamas, and one of the shower favorites a UT track suit with a mini bottle of whiskey and coke in each pocket.







Logan is so lucky to have had such wonderful showers (both in Asheville and Nashville). He really racked up at both showers.
