Our Little Gymnast

Here is our little gymnast at his class at My Gym in Brentwood. He has really done well with learning how to transition to different people, places and activities. He will attempt most activities and once he tries them he usually like them too. Of course his favorite time is free play!

Flashback to 15 months-Weekend in Asheville

Brian, Logan, and I made a quick trip to Asheville. Logan had a great time and so did we! We wish we could all be together more, but enjoy the time we do get together.

Flashback to 15 months-Halloween Weekend

He had a wonderful and busy Halloween weekend!

Flashback to 15 months-Park Time

At 15 months old Logan started to become independent at the park. He became interested in all of the equipment and enjoyed climbing all over it rather then just running around and looking at people (of course he still loves to do that). Here are some videos and pictures of him enjoying the park and mastering the slide!

Flashback to 14 months

Hanging with Mr. Bos.

One of Logan's new skills at 14 months was to climb into the rocking chair. Reading books in this chair is one of his favorite activities. If I turn my back I can easily find him here!

Park Time

Playing at Gracyn's 3rd birthday party.

He loves the vacuum and the broom.
Always a helper.

Helping some more.

On a lunch date and acting like a gentleman!

Playing with Daddy one of his other favorite things to do!

I was checking in on him during his nap and found that he had undressed himself and was bouncing in the crib.

Logan's 1st Haircut

I took Logan to Snip Its in Franklin to get his first haircut. He wasn't too thrilled about having to sit still when there was so much to explore. Thankfully, the cut went quick. A little trim around the ears and off the mullet.

A little nervous!

He got upset but raisins helped make it better...for a minute.

Eating raisins and getting worried about what this woman was going to do to the mullet.

Hooray the cut is over!

Just Like His Daddy

Even though Logan is too young (and we don't allow it) for TV or to play on the computer he is drawn to electronics. Computers in fact. Just like his daddy :)

13 Month Recap

13 months was busy and hot! Logan is so pale and overheats easy so we didn't get to play outside as much as we wanted too :( He is wanting to constantly open all cabinet doors and drawers around the house. He loves to chase me around when I have the vacuum. He really started to develop a true run this month. He enjoys a variety of foods but appears to be eliminating some foods he used to like. This can be frustrating at times and he will sometimes shake his head no if you give him food he doesn't want which then develops into baby rage. He won't eat any foods that require our help so he no longer eats oatmeal, mashed cauliflower, etc. He is teething but this time it is going very slowly. He has started to hate being confined for long periods of time (e.g., riding in stroller, car seats, shopping cart). This is wearing us out a little when we go out.

Taking a little siesta in the playroom while we were waiting for the upstairs AC to get fixed one day.
He loved to pushed in his wagon or in his car by Grandpa.

Logan's first trip to the zoo on Brian's Birthday.

This is probably the only animal he even noticed at the zoo!

Looking for alligators with Grandpa and Nanna Nanna.

Brian's parents took us here to try the famous biscuits.

Enjoying his favorite food, strawberries, at the Loveless Cafe.

He has turned into quite the helper.

He can get in and out of his push cart all by himself. Sometimes he will get in, sit down, and then look around for a pusher or sometimes he will use this as his pedestal and make a grand speech.
