Big Brother

Logan is going to be a big brother soon! We are expecting our newest addition at the end of January. My due date is February 3rd; however due to me having a c-section scheduled it will be a week or so earlier. Logan loves to point at and label babies but I am not to sure how he is going to enjoy having one living with us and getting a lot of our attention. I am pretty sure Mr. Bosworth and Ms. Pinkerton might move out when we bring the new one home :)

We took an Intelligender test and you can see the results below. This is just a fun test that is in no way definite on predicting baby gender. We took one with Logan and it correctly predicted boy. By reading reviews online I did find out that everyone who got a wrong reading was told boy and they had a girl, so it appears the test predicts boy more than girl. We should find out early September! I can't wait to find out if Logan is going to have a brother or sister!

Another Zoo Trip

We went to the Zoo again. I wanted to take Logan back to the zoo to go around the other loop, ride the train and because Brian was working last time we went. Logan now claps and says "yay" when we pull up to some places which is really cute (regardless of whether he knows the place or not). It has been super hot here so we only went for about an hour and half right when the zoo opened.

Logan's 2nd Birthday Party

We had to move Logan's party to Thursday the 21st since he was sick on his actual birthday. We had it at the Monkey's Treehouse. Logan had a blast! He started the party by diving head first down the giant winding tube slide and landing on his head. Luckily, he was fine it just scared him. We discovered during cake eating time that Logan does not like frosting so we had to keep wiping it off and giving him the yellow cake. Some of our friends were nice and donated some of their frosting free parts of cake too. He loved all of his presents and has been playing with the new toys every day. We have such great friends!

Pool Time

Logan's 2nd Trip to the Zoo

Logan was feeling a little better from his hand, foot and mouth disease so I thought I would take give him a belated birthday trip to the zoo. He went once when he was 1 on Brian's birthday and didn't really even notice any animals. This time he noticed the BIG animals, pointed a lot and enjoyed his first carousel ride. We saw flamingos, parrots, cranes, etc. and he proudly pointed and called all of them ducks. Close enough.

Logan turns 2!

Logan turned 2 on Thursday July 14th! Unfortunately, he was sick and miserable with hand, foot and mouth disease! There was an outbreak at his school. Not only did we have to reschedule his birthday party but we had to cancel a trip to visit family in Asheville :(

Logan loves to help feed Pinky and the Bos.

The dogs won't eat there food unless there is cheese sprinkled on top (spoiled? yes!) Logan is mastering the art of breaking up cheese to put on top.

Cupcake time!

Didn't go well!

Logan wasn't able to eat much due to his mouth having huge sores in it but we wanted to try and give him a treat on his birthday. He appeared to be mad because the cupcake kept falling apart due to being top heavy but we later realized (at his party) that he doesn't like icing.

Catch Up-23 Months

Logan has had a busy summer. Here are some pictures to recap his adventures at 23 months.

At Lizzie's 3rd birthday party! This YMCA pool was too cool!

Going down the water slide!

Logan enjoyed wearing his rain boots all the time and could sometimes put them on independently. He always enjoys playing on the stairs.

He loves to pretend to talk on the phone.

Hanging with his best pal-Grandpa! They have dueling notebooks-ha!

Breakfast time. Being silly with Daddy and the bisquick box!
