Logan James Rauscher

Here is a short clip from today's ultrasound. We had another one because they weren't able to see everything they wanted during the first one (such as the base of his spine, major heart valve, lips). Everything checked out perfectly today. The doctor says he weighs around 1 pound 1 ounce and is in the 39th percentile for weight. He loves to punch and kick. He opened his mouth a lot throughout the ultrasound and as you can see in the video enjoyed sucking on his hand. He is now head down and in this new position he sometimes pushes on some nerves which causes a painful numbing sensation on my left stomach/rib area.

As you can tell by the title we have decided that his name will be Logan James Rauscher. Logan was on my list of boy names and then only one that Brian didn't make me cross off. James is my father's first name and my mother's last name. Of course my first vote for a boy's name was Rausch Rauscher (haha-Rausch is what I call Brian). Yes, Logan is wolverine's real name, but our Logan will not respond to Wolfie or any other related nickname. The last statement was for all of Brian's friends.
