My Favorite Day of the Year

April 7th is my favorite day of the year because it my day (my birthday)! Yes, I am that self-centered when it comes to celebrating my birthday. I claim the entire month of April as my birthday month. I ended up working on my birthday (very rare) so that I could go spend the weekend in Asheville with my cousin and her too cute family. After work I had the most fantastic prenatal massage at the Essential Therapy Spa. I wish I could have one every week! I decided I didn't want to go through the effort of getting all dressed up and going out on a cold night, so we opted for some delicious Las Palmas. Brian took me to Whole Foods to pick out my birthday cake. I got some really cute maternity clothes from my mother-in-law, a living fresh book (I'm trying) from my aunt, and a few checks from family members that have been put in our savings for Baby Logan's expenses. Below is a picture of the artistic wrapping job by Brian: note the Christmas snow tissue paper that is peaking out of the bag with a bow on top (none of it matches). In addition, to the eclectic wrapping job I came to realize that it was really just placed on top of the present (ha ha). At least he got me the sandals I have been dying to have since last spring! He also got me all the seasons of House and the 1st season of Criminal Minds. I am obsessed with both of these shows.
